Gulf Air Cabin Baggage Allowance
Besides the free cabin baggage, travelers may also carry a handbag or purse or a pocketbook, a laptop or computer or tab, an overcoat or blanket, an umbrella or walking stick or crutches or a fully collapsible wheelchair, a camera or a pair of binoculars, and infant’s food for consumption during the flight. Students with a valid institutional ID card can carry additional baggage up to 23kg.
Infant Check-in Baggage: Infants aged under2 years will get a special allowance of 15 kg as check-in baggage. Infants are also entitled to one cabin baggage (maximum dimension 44*35*20 cm or 17*13*7 inches) weighing up to 3 kg.
Special Baggage Allowance: Gulf Air offers a free baggage allowance for sports equipment and musical instruments. These should be within linear dimensions of 158 cms, otherwise excess baggage charges will be levied. If you are carrying excess baggage, you may opt for a pre-paid online payment for the same, before going to the airport. This way, you can save up to 30%. This payment can be made up to 25 hours before your flight.
Gulf Air Online Check-in
For a convenient experience, check-in online. This facility is available from 24 hours to 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time of your flight. You will need your e-ticket confirming your Gulf Air booking to avail of this facility.
Gulf Air Cancellation and Refund Policy
The cancellation and refund of a Gulf Air booking depend upon the type of ticket. Every ticket cancellation entails an administrative refund charge of BHD10/USD30 or equivalent currencies.
