flyadeal is a Saudi-based low-cost airline headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and owned by the Saudi flag carrier Saudia (Saudi Arabian Airlines). flyadeal aims to offer affordable travel options to everyone. flyadeal Baggage Allowance

Checked Baggage Allowance:

Passengers on a fly+ fare have a check-in baggage allowance of 1 bag of up to 25 kg for free at the Bag Drop. Additional checked baggage pieces may be added through the Manage Booking facility before the flight commences.

Travelers planning to carry extra baggage should add the same through the Manage Booking facility before flying. It costs much more to pay the extra baggage price at the airport.

Excess Baggage Fees

• The excess baggage price booked online before reaching the airport is SAR 70 for 1 piece up to 15 kg, and SAR 115 for one piece up to 25 kg.
• Excess baggage charges at the airport are SAR 180 for 1 piece up to 15 kg and SAR 240 for 1 piece up to 25 kg. Additional weight beyond 15 kg or 25 kg is charged at the rate of SAR 23 per kg.
• The flyadeal team may check cabin baggage to ensure that it's within the stipulated limit. If there is excess baggage, the same may be transferred to the hold. This can entail a fee of SAR 275 for every bag up to 25 kg. Baggage check-in counters close 60 minutes before departure.

Excess Baggage Fees for international flights

• Passengers buying extra baggage allowance before reaching the airport are charged SAR 80 / AED 80 / KWD 6.5 for 1 piece up to 15 kg and SAR 145 / AED 145 / KWD 11.75 for 1 piece up to 25 kg.
• The price increases if the payment is not made before reaching the airport. The increased price is SAR 180 / AED 180 / KWD 15.00 for 1 piece up to 15 kg and SAR 240 / AED 240 / KWD 20.00 for 1 piece up to 25 kg. The extra baggage charge as per additional weight beyond the limit of 15kg or 25kg is charged at the rate of SAR40 / AED 40 / KWD 3.25 per kg.
• Passengers trying to board with excess baggage may be required to check their cabin baggage into the hold. This in turn, further attracts a charge of SAR 275 / AED 275 / KWD 22.25 for each bag up to 25 kg.

Cabin Baggage Allowance

Every customer is entitled to carry one piece of cabin baggage, weighing up to 7 kg and lesser than 55 x 35 x 20 cm in dimensions. Anyone traveling with an infant is also allowed to carry a small bag, and both of these should be placed under the seat in front of the passenger.

The size and weight of cabin baggage are checked at the check-in and the boarding gate. If it’s too heavy or doesn’t fit the baggage gauge, it is checked in the hold and excess baggage fees may be charged.

Over-sized Checked Baggage

Hold Bag should not be larger than 75 x 50 x 35 cm. Larger items are accepted only if the dimensions are less than 140 x 85 x 65 cm. This also requires the payment of an over-Sized baggage fee of SAR 200 / AED 200 / KWD 16.25.

A Checked Baglarger than 140 x 85 x 65 cm in dimensions is not accepted for travel.

flyadeal Special Baggage Allowance

flyadeal Airport Check-In

Travelers planning to check in at the airport should arrive 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The gates close 30 minutes before departure.

flyadeal Cancellation and Refund Policy

Online cancellation is allowed not later than 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. If flyadeal changes a flight schedule and the departure time of the alternative flight is 6 hours after the originally booked flight, travelers may cancel the booking and seek a refund. flyadeal may also consider refund requests under exceptional circumstances such as bereavement or major illness of an immediate family member.
