Egyptair is one of the pioneering airlines. It was established in 1932 and went on to become the seventh carrier in the world. On July 17th,2008, Egyptair joined the Star Alliance network, which is the world’s largest airline alliance. This alliance offers patrons better flight connectivity along with a more comfortable journey. Egyptair is the only airline based in North Africa and the Middle East to join the Star Alliance.

Egyptair offers a generous baggage allowance for each class of travel. Travelers with checked baggage exceeding the allowance stated below will be charged extra.

Egyptair Checked Baggage Allowance for International Flights

• Business Class/2 pieces of luggage – 32 kg(maximum weight per piece) and 158 cm (maximum dimensions)
• Economy Class/pieces according to fare rules – 23 kg (maximum weight per piece) and 158 cm (maximum dimensions)
• Business Class (Staralliance Gold) – 2 pieces + 1extra piece – 32 kg (maximum weight per piece) and 158 cm (maximum dimensions)
• Economy Class (Staralliance Gold) – pieces according to fare rules + 1 extra piece

Egyptair Cabin Baggage Allowance for International Flights

• Business Class – 2 pieces with a maximum weight of 8 kg and maximum dimensions of 118cm.
• Economy Class – 1 piece with a maximum weight of 8kg and maximum dimensions of 118cm.
• Business Class ‘Staralliance Gold’ – 2 pieces with a maximum weight of 8 kg and maximum dimensions of 118 cm.
• Economy Class ‘Staralliance Gold’ – 1 piece with a maximum weight of 8 kg and maximum dimensions of 118 cm.

Egyptair Checked Baggage Allowance for Infants

• All Classes (except the USA and Canada) – 1 piece weighing up to 10 kg and not exceeding 115 cm in dimensions.
• All Classes To/from USA and Canada – 1 piece weighing up to 23 kg and not exceeding 115 cm in dimensions.

Egyptair Online Check-in

Passengers with reserved tickets may check-in online 48 hours to 90 minutes before flight departure time. Here are the steps for online check-in.

• Visit the official web check-in page of Egyptair.
• Click start online check-in.
• Fill up the information under ‘Use my Booking Reference’ or ‘Use my E-Ticket Number’.
• Click on ‘IDENTIFY’ and proceed with the check-in.

Egyptair PNR Status Check

Here are the steps to check PNR status

• Go to the My Bookings section.
• Enter your booking reference number and last name.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Egyptair charges a refund fee and this fee depends upon fare conditions. Usually, the processing of a refund takes up to 21 days.
